Dear Fellow RV’ers,
We wanted to take a minute and update everyone on what impact the COVID-19 virus is having on our operations. First, let us say we are all in this together and we feel for those businesses that are being directly affected and those individuals who are suffering or at high risk. As we are not experts in these situations or protocols, we’ll refrain from offering opinions about what might or might not happen in the coming weeks.
Fortunately for us, RV adventures are one of the recreational pastimes with a very small amount of contact with others. Talk about social distancing, an RV trip with your family might be the perfect activity.
We have always had a process of thoroughly cleaning our units between uses and we are increasing that effort to even higher standards, given the circumstances. We want our customers to feel confident that each of our units are properly cleaned and safe for use.
We are currently operating in a reduced staff environment with our office staff working largely from home and our technicians working and practicing common sense and social distancing. We believe that as suppliers of emergency housing to individuals, companies and the government we are considered an essential business and will attempt to remain open for rentals and service. We have asked our employees to be extra vigilant and certainly not to come to work if they are feeling ill or showing symptoms of the virus. Also, none of our employees have been traveling to high risk areas or out of the country during all of this outbreak. We are asking all employees to wash their hands more frequently and thoroughly and to inform us if they are aware of contact with someone who might have contracted the virus. We have a small staff and hope that our efforts will keep us free from the virus.
We expect that our customers will take the same precautions and that we’ll get through this together. It doesn’t seem like panic is a productive reaction. Let’s stay calm, use our common sense and see this through together. We have lots of cleaning supplies and caring employees who are committed to these efforts. We are currently maintaining our normal business hours.
In the unfortunate event one of our customers need to cancel, we are allowing them to reschedule the trip to a future date.
Please feel free to call if you have questions or concerns and if there is something we can do to help make your spring and summer trips a success.
Rich and Sandy Beckert
