RV Insurance / CDW
For Motorized Units
You are required to either provide RV Rental Insurance coverage through your personal auto insurance policy or to purchase a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) from Quest RV which relieves you of financial responsibility after the first $2000, up to $25,000 for each incident for damage to our vehicle. It does not relieve you of responsibility for Loss of Use.
1) Reach out to your auto insurance carrier to inquire about RV Rental coverage. Some insurance companies will extend your personal automobile policy (comprehensive and collision) to the rental of a motorhome and/or trailer. We require a Binder and/or Endorsement listing You, the RV, and Us (Quest RV).
OR
2) You may purchase a CDW (collision damage waiver) from Quest RV. This will limit your responsibility to the first $2000.00 of any damage to the RV up to $25,000 in damage. This is per incident and does not include Loss of Use.
You are also able to purchase additional coverage. Our insurance company (MBA) offers Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI). For only $14.95 per day, you can protect yourself and your family against loss for injury to other people and damage to their property. Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is also available and for an additional $5.95 per day, you can be covered for accidental death and medical expenses. Plus limited coverage for your belongings. For Non-Airstream Trailers
Your personal auto insurance is responsible for any and all damage to our trailer while attached to your vehicle. You will need to provide a copy of your insurance coverage. You will want to inquire if your auto policy will cover the trailer for damage when it is unattached from your vehicle. If they will not cover the trailer when it is unattached, you will need to purchase a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) which will limit your responsibility for damage to $1000 up to $25,000 in damage per incident plus loss of use.
